Natural Attraction Safaris is a local company, based in Arusha, Tanzania, offering wildlife safaris and mountain climbing trips. We work directly with clients from start to finish. We personally answer questions from potential
clients and tailor itineraries to meet their needs. We also make all of the arrangements for your time with us in Tanzania: hiring well-trained staff, checking safety and camping equipment and welcoming you to our country. We understand the customs and culture of Tanzania as well as the needs of Western travelers. As a small company, we are also able to give personal attention to each and every one of our clients. We are also dedicated to treating our staff well and ensuring that they receive fair payment for their work.
Dismas Agger
Owner/Guide
Dismas has been working on Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru since 2003. He started working as a porter and worked his way up to a guiding position. Since completing training in 2009, he has been working as a mountain guide. Dismas has shared memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences with over 500 clients on the mountain, with very high success rates.
He has studied at tour guiding school and taken courses in customer care, leadership skills and Wilderness First Responder.
Having worked his way up from porter to guide, Dismas has a good understanding of the challenges facing each member of the staff. He is committed to being a fair and supportive boss.
Amber Picone Agger
Amber is an American; she grew up in Minnesota. She first came to Tanzania as a tourist and volunteer. While climbing Kilimanjaro with her parents, she met Dismas. As she volunteered in Arusha over the next month, they became good friends. Over the following year, their friendship grew and they fell in love. In June 2017, Amber and Dismas got married.
Amber now works as a teacher in Arusha as well as raising their infant son.
